Randy C. Rakes, age 60 of Pulaski peacefully passed away Friday, July 20, 2012 at his home. Born February 3, 1952 in Pulaski County, he was the son of Violet Mabry Rakes and the late Sidney Eldridge Rakes.

He was employed at Volvo with over 28 years of service. He was a member of the UAW Local #2069.

He is survived by his

Daughter- Lori Rakes Church & husband, Robert Church.

Son- Matthew Rakes.

Mother- Violet Mabry Rakes.

Grandson- Trevor Kessinger.

Brother Sidney Roger Rakes & wife, Mary.

Sisters - Evelyn Foley, Carolyn Johnston , Mary Ware & husband, Joe.

Nieces- Angie Goad,& Emily Snapp. Nephews- Kevin Rakes, Donnie Rakes and Dougie Johnston.

Special Friend- Rosemary Caves

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Audie Arnold officiating.

Interment will be at the Sunrise Cemetery,Fairlawn 11:00 am Monday morning, July 23, 2012.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with the service following at 7:00 PM.
