Alena "Snook" Gertrude Stoots, age 82 of Pulaski and formerly of the Poplar Hills Community (Giles) passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 in the Highland Ridge Nursing Home, Dublin.
Born November 25, 1926 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Clarence Early & Rosa Hoback Stoots. Her daughter; Patricia Stutler, sister; Canary Harrell and Brother; Ira Smith also preceded her in death.
She was retired from Celanese with over 27 years of service.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Billy Akers officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
