Alice Faye Sheffey Parks, age 69 of Dublin passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007 at her home.
Born July 28, 1938 in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late Hancel Hubert Sheffey and Elsie Groseclose Sheffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law; George E. Shaw, sister-in-laws; Betty Roope Sheffey, Mary Gay Patton Sheffey and Eleanor Aker Sheffey.
She was a member of the Dublin United Methodist Church and retired from Volvo with 30 years of service.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Dublin United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Rowland officiating. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
