Alma Anderson Hanks , age 86 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home.

Born May 1, 1927 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late William Albert & Anna Belle Robertson Anderson.

Her husband of 65 years; Robert (Bob) Hanks, sisters; Bessie Gallimore, Bertha East, Thelma Lewey, Ruth Frost,Mamie Williams and brothers; Clifton Anderson, Virgil Anderson, Harry Anderson and James Anderson also preceded her in death.

She retired from Jefferson Mills and was a member of the Abundant Life Ministries.

She is survived by

Sons & Daughters-in-law- Jerry & Sharon Hanks-Harrisburg, PA.,Dennis & Rene Hanks- Dublin,Keith & Dayna Hanks- Radford,Earl & Judy Hanks- Pilot,Timmy & Missy Hanks-Pulaski, &Phyllis Hanks-Dublin.

11 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

Brother & Sister-in-law- Carl & Donna Anderson-Pulaski,

Special Friend of the family- Agnes Martin-Dublin

Special Pet - "Angel".

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel ,Pulaski with the Pastor Randall Lawrence & Rev. Earl Hanks officiating. Interment will follow at the Thornspring United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00-7:00 PM, March 23, 2014 at the Bower Funeral Home.
