Ashley Nicole Bowers, age 27 of Dublin passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville.

Born January 9, 1986 in Galax, Virginia, she is the daughter of Carl Douglas Bowers and Nancy Ann Johnson Bowers. Her Maternal Grandfather, Billy Johnson and Paternal Grandparents, Laura Kay Bowers and Avery Odell Bowers also preceded her in death.

She was a 2004 graduate of Pulaski County High School and a May 2013 nursing graduate of New River Community College, Dublin. She was employed by Wal-Mart. Ashley attended Valley Harvest Ministries.

Parents- Carl D. and Nancy Ann Bowers- Max Meadows

Brother and Sister-in-law- Chad and Crystal Bowers- Tacoma, Washington.
Nephew- Cormack Bowers,
Niece-Chloe Bowers.

Maternal Grandmother- Lillie Johnson- Galax.

Fiance- Rick Riddle-Dublin.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 A.M., September 9, 2013 at Valley Harvest Ministries, Dublin with Pastor Steve Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Cemetery, Popular Camp.(Wythe County).

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., September 8, 2013 at the church.
