Barbara Ann Chrisley Scott, age 63 of Hiwassee went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 27, 2011.
Born May 8, 1948 in Pulaski County, she was preceded in death by her father and mother, Kermit and Rosie Quesenberry; brothers, Artie, Leon, Clayton, Phillip, Tommy, Robert, and Roger Quesenberry, and Step-son, Randall Scott all who loved her very much.
She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Rodney Scott.
Three sons-
Darrell Chrisley,
Robert Chrisley and wife, Angie;
Russell Chrisley.
Step-Daughter-
Vicki Scott.
Four Grandchildren-
Amanda Giles, Samantha Collins, Christopher Chrisley and Abigail Chrisley.
Two Great Grandchildren-
Billy James Chrisley II
Destiney Giles- all who loved her very much.
She also leaves behind, three sisters, Nora Quesenberry, Dixie Crockett, & Alice Arnold and husband, Rick; Three Brothers, Richard Quesenberry and wife, Brenda, Jack Quesenberry and wife, Kathy, and Lonnie Quesenberry and wife, Barbara and many nieces and nephews.
She was a long time member of the Hiwassee Pentecostal Holiness Church where she use to teach Sunday school and sing with the Uplifters. For the past 18 years, she has traveled with her husband all over Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina ministering with song. She sang harmony and lead on 33 professional recordings, 10 of which were released across the country sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Barbara was a walking testimony and inspiration to us all. She loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She inspired us all to be a better person and encouraged everyone to come to the knowledge and salvation Jesus offers. She was a remarkable woman and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Today she received her healing and is rejoicing in her savor's arms.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski County.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
