Barbara Ann Jarrells Turman, age 86 of Allisonia passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 at the Pulaski Health Care Center.

Born January 4, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Matthew Albert Jarrells & Minnie Ada McGlothlin Jarrells Stith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Maurice “Butch” Turman; and brother, Donald Jarrells.

She was a member of the Hiwassee Church of the Brethren.

Barbara is survived by her   

Children - Keith Turman & wife, Tina - Radford, Brian Turman - Fairlawn, Misty Turman - Pulaski

Nine Grandchildren - Candi Hight, Rusty Cook, Brandi Marshall, Cody Turman, Haley Turman, Briana Turman, Parker Turman, Christian Turman and Noel Jones

Eleven Great Grandchildren

Sisters - Evelyn Williams & husband, Bob - Independence, Joan Fowler & husband, Roger - Dublin, Rhonda Surface - Dublin

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 PM - September 16, 2026 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
