Bessie Katherine Eads, age 81 of Blacksburg and formerly of Pulaski passed away Monday, October 5, 2009. Born June 14, 1928 in Pulaski she was the daughter of the late Walter & Ollie Moore Kemp. Her husband; Warren K. Eads, Sr. & son; Danny Ray Eads, Sr. also preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held at 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor John Wertz officiating. The family will receive friends after the service until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to the Humane Society of Montgomery County c/o (P.O. Box 287, Blacksburg, VA.)
