Cecil L. Evans, age 69 of 6021 Ruebush Road, Dublin passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Hospital (Winston-Salem, NC).
Born March 4, 1939 in Bedford County, PA he was the son of the late Calvin & Hazel Evans. One brother-in-law; Richard Leonard also preceded him in death.
A former plant manager for Lane Metal with 23 years of service, Cecil retired from Heritage Auto with 14 years of service. He was a member of the Dublin Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Bedford, PA. He loved to go to baseball games, hunt, camp and most of all help his friends & neighbors.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Dublin Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Fishertown Cemetery (Schellsburg, PA). The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at the Dublin Baptist Church.
