Cheryl Doreen Nelson Sola , age 67 of Dublin passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021 at her home. Born October 17, 1954 in Durham, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late James Robert Nelson, Jr. & Mary Marcella Saxon Nelson. She was also preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

She earned many degrees along with her Bachelor's, made the presidents list two semesters in a row at NRCC, she also attended Hollins college. She received a Masters degree in Fine Arts.

She was a beautiful soul and her smile would light up a room. She loved her family and she will be missed and she will be remembered.

She is survived by her

Sons - Vincent Sola & fiancée, Cara – Roanoke, Joseph Sola - Dublin

Grandson – Micah Sola - Blacksburg

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM - Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski. The family will receive friends one hour before service time at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
