Curtis Lee Cecil, age 81 of Fairhaven, Massachusetts and formerly Pulaski County passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2008.

Born September 16, 1927 in Pulaski, he was the son of the late Eugene G. Cecil and Virginia Dexter Cecil. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Leo Cecil and Paul Cecil.

He was a veteran of the United Navy. He was a barber for 59 years and was still working at the age of 82.

Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 P.M. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Mike Coleman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Cecil's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hiwassee with full military honors conducted by the Pulaski VFW Post 1184.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.

The pallbearers will be Gary Cecil, Rick Cecil, John Cecil, Danny Lundrigan, Adam Cecil and Morgan Cecil.
