Daniel Lewis "Danny" O'Dell, age 59 of Hiwassee went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at his home.

Born November 4, 1948 in Radford he was the son of the late Lewis & Pearl Edith Kidd O'Dell. One brother-in-law; Lloyd M. Boyd and mother & father-in-law; Lloyd Thurman & Marie Boyd preceded him in death.
He was retired from the State Department of Highways with over 13 years of service. He was a member of the Max Creek Baptist Church.
He was a devoted & loving husband, father and grandfather.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Max Creek Baptist Church with the Pastor Mike Coleman officiating. Interment will follow at the O'Dell-Moore Cemetery,Hiwassee.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Max Creek Baptist Church.
