Dawn "Dawney" Vaughn Bowman, age 79 of Dublin passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.

Born December 21, 1932 in Narrows, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jake Vaughn and Elsie Gautier Vaughn. Her husband, Rush Woodrow Bowman; two sons, Johnny and Bobby Bowman; three sisters and one brother also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m., February 25, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 to 12:45 p.m. before service hour at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
