Dean Frank Burse, age 78 of Greenville,S.C. and formerly Wythe County, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Pendleton Manor, Greenville, S.C.

Born December 16, 1931 in Wythe County, Virginia, he was the son of the late Stella Marie Coleman of Pulaski. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Collins Burse and one sister, Shirley Decker.
He was a Marine veteran, serving in the Korean War, and was retired from the United States Forestry Service.

His Daughter and Son-in-law- Crystal and John Garcia- Greenville ,S.C.,
Three Granddaughters- Lucy, Shelby ,and Stella-

Sister & Brother-in-law- Jenell and Nelson Walters-Roanoke, VA,

Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m. February 1, 2010 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Jim Jacobs officiating.
Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to New Hope Haiti Mission, an orphanage and ministry under direction of his niece, April Salvant, at P.O. Box 2635, Mechanicsville, VA 23116.
