Deborah Marie Waldeck , age 64 of Hiwassee (Snowville Community) passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born July 11, 1957 in Warwick, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Richard Arnold Beck and Jacqueline Edith Beck.

She was so loved on and around our mountains and she had made great friends  in Southwest Virginia,  and she loved it here so much. She took and completed her master gardener's class at Virginia Tech and she also enjoyed going with her friends to Tuesday night bible class. Deborah started her glass creation business and was making jewelry and plates in her kiln and all while helping with our two amazing grandkids.

She is survived by her

Children - Rachel Marie Eastwood - Snowville, Shannon Lee Whitehead - RI, Jason Michael Waldeck - RI, Brian Michael Waldeck & Wife, Kaylee Dixon Waldeck - RI

Two Grandchildren - Carlos Eastwood, IV and Oliver Eastwood

Brother - Steven Beck & wife, Elaine Beck - RI

Father-in-law - Henry Waldeck - RI

Mother-in-law - Lois Waldeck-RI

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 6:00 p.m., September 28, 2021 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until service time.
