Mrs. Dorothy "Dotsy" Richardson Smith passed from this earth on January 27, 2018 following several years battling Parkinson's Disease. She was a spirited woman with a strong love of life and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Dorothy was born in Pulaski, VA and moved several times over the years with her family upon finally settling in Pulaski until her final resting days at Richfield Living in Salem, VA.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy" Clinton Smith, parents, Virgil & Hazel Richardson, sister, Linda Lawson, brothers, Jimmy Richardson and Doug Richardson.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Richfield Living, family and friends for their support over these last few years and during this difficult time.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM – Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Bower Funeral Home-chapel, Pulaski.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time Thursday at the funeral home.
