Douglas Dehart "D.D." Miller, age 67 of 5748 Dalton Drive, Dublin passed away Saturday, December 23, 2006 at the Giles Memorial Hospital.

Born December 20, 1939 in Bland County, he was the son of the late Albert Lee Miller, Sr. and Edna Ruth DeHart Miller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Alice May Williams Miller on November 13, 2006.

He spent 37 years as a profession truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Army last serving with Company C, 1st Airborne Battle Group, and 502d Infantry.
He was a member of Henry Clay Lodge #280 A.F & A.M. and attended the Newbern Christian Church.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, December 26th at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. with an evening Memorial service to follow at 8:00 PM conducted by the Henry Clay Lodge # 280 A.F. & A.M.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Dewey Conley, of Bozoo Christian Church, Bozoo, WV. officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin with full military honors at the graveside conducted by the Pulaski V.F.W. Post 1184.
