Edith June Edwards Trail, age 82 of Hiwassee passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her home after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born September 24, 1930 in Delton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Dillard Edwards and Maggie Atkins Edwards.
Her husband, Early Trail; one son, William "Bobby" Trail; two sisters, Frances Marshall and Velma Edwards; and one brother, Jimmy Edwards also preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Hiwassee Church of the Brethren. She retired from Renfro, Pulaski.

Ben and Carly Walden &
Mallie Grace Trail-Christiansburg.

Daughter-in-law- Marie Trail-Hiwassee.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m., November 24, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Leslie Shelton and Pastor Troy Mays officiating. Interment will follow in the Trail Family Cemetery, Hiwassee.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

Flowers will be appreciated, however, the family suggests memorials may be sent to the Pulaski Humane Society and St. Judes Children's Hospital.
