Edith Hester Simpkins Flinchum, age 97 of Hiwassee, VA (Snowville Community) passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

Born June 1, 1915 in Snowville, she was the daughter of the late Garfield Simpkins & Sarah Katherine Quesenberry Simpkins.
Her husband; Alfred Flinchum, sisters; Icey Akers, Tokie Windle and brothers; Colon, Rupard, Griffie, Osgood and Oden Simpkins also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Son-
Dr. Aaron Rudolph "Rudy" Flinchum – TN.

Several nieces and nephews-

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 17, 2012 at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with Elder Tommy Pegram officiating.

Interment will follow at the Simpkins Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday evening at the Funeral Home in Pulaski.
