Edna Ruth Lyons Underwood, age 77 of Dublin passed away Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born November 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William Asbury Lyons and Pearl Holderfield Lyons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Allen Underwood, five brothers, Joe Lyons, Sr., Lawrence Lyons, Gene Lyons, John Lyons, and Raymond Lyons; and two sisters, Ruby Groft, and Helen Freeman.
She was a member of the Community Christian Church,Newbern

Funeral services will be held Saturday 11:00 A.M. at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Minister Ernie Depew officiating. Interment will follow at Newbern Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
