Elisha Paul Shelton , 39, of Arizona, peacefully passed away in his home, surrounded by his friends and family on June 25th, 2023. Elisha was born in Hiwassee, VA on November 22, 1983 to Reverend JB and Shirley Shelton. He grew up in Christiansburg, VA and was a 2002 graduate of Auburn High School. On January 19, 2013 he married his wife Jolynn and they resided in Spokane, WA. He became a member of Spokane Faith Center in 2012 and served on the worship team. He rode with the Tribe of Judah and was patched in 2017. He was passionate about serving his community, working with City Gates to help the homeless.

He was a talented musician and used his music to spread the gospel. He was a fan of VT, Washington Redskins, and loved Harley Davidsons. Elisha is preceded in death by his Mother, Shirley J. Shelton, Brother, Jeff Vickers, and Father-in-Law, Bill Dewitt.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jolynn Shelton of Arizona, his daughter Lily Petrillo of Tennessee, daughters Kaya and Sadie Shelton of Maryland, and son, Gibson Shelton of Arizona. Stepson Essen Ayala and Stepdaughter Bree Ayala of Nevada. Grandchildren, Brixxon and Wrenley Sturdivant of Nevada. His Father JB Shelton of Arizona. Siblings, Dwight Shelton and spouse Lisa of North Carolina, Joey Shelton and spouse Lisa of Virginia, Ember Shelton of Virginia, Craig Shelton and spouse Michele of Arizona, and WS Shelton and spouse Angela of Virginia. Special brother JW Ashburn, numerous nieces, nephews and family friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on July 15, 2023 at Draper Pentecostal Holiness Church, 5662 E. Lee Highway, Max Meadows, VA 24360. Visitation from 11AM-1PM, service at 1PM. A catered Celebration of Life dinner will be held after the service in the fellowship hall.
