Evelyn Edwards Burton, age 69 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012.

Born April 24, 1942 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Rupert Conklin Edwards and Minnie Lee Edwards Edwards. Her husband, Johnnie Wayne Burton; Brothers, Benjamin, Carl, Garnett, Robert and Henry Edwards; sisters, Beulah Edwards, Measie Elizabeth Phillips & half sisters, Viola Hawks and Myrtle Edwards also preceded her in death.

She attended the Peak Creek Mission of Prayer for many years. She had a special love for children and did a lot of babysitting over the years.

She is survived by her children-
Robert Wayne Burton and wife, LaFon-Pulaski,
Melissa B. Jarrells and husband, Greg-Pulaski.
Tony Lee Burton and wife, Linda-Pulaski,
Tammy Bentley and husband, Lee-Pulaski,
Angie B. Akers and husband, Kelvin-Hillsville.

Grandchildren-
Robbie Burton, Brittany Farlow, Cameron Farlow, Robin Burton, Brandon Burton, Sydney Burton , Erin Edwards, Amanda Edwards, Brittany Lawrence & husband, Nathan, Ashlee Burton, Stephen Bentley, Breanna Bentley ;Beth Painter & husband, Jeff; Adam Akers, and Andrew Akers.

Great Grandchildren-
Micah Lawrence, Johnnie-Lee Stone & Baby Girl Stone.

Numerous Nieces and nephews and Special friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday 2:00 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dale Akers and Rev. Bobby Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the Hufford Cemetery, Pulaski.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

The family will be meeting at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Lee Bentley, 5800 Alum Spring Road, Pulaski.
