Rev. Floyd Chapman Clyburn, age 79 of Pulaski passed away Friday, December 9, 2011 at Lewis Gale-Pulaski Hospital, Pulaski.
Born June 22, 1932 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Floyd Osborne Clyburn and Mary Martin Clyburn. His son, Larry Clyburn also preceded him in death.
Surviving him-
Daughters-
Mary Phillips and husband, Ivan-Floyd,
Dreama Presnell - NC.,
Pat Hudson and husband, Garry-Dublin,
Kathy Wolfe and husband, Ronnie- Abingdon.
Twelve Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren.
Brothers-
Luther Clyburn-Pulaski,
Claude Clyburn-Blacksburg.
Sister-
Magaline Sutphin-Pulaski.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Interment will follow at the Thornspring Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
