Frances Sue Bruce , age 91 of Richmond and formerly a life-long resident of Dublin passed away Friday, December 15, 2023 at the Chippenham Medical Center, Richmond. Born September 30,1932 in Wythe County, Virginia she was the daughter of the late Claude Lee Nuckols & Hazel Mallie Arnold Nuckols. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Everett R. Bruce, daughter, Vickie Lynn Parker, grandson, Chad Hoback, brothers, Gene Nuckols, James Nuckols, Claude C. Nuckols, Edward Nuckols, and sisters, Mary Poland, Pearl E. Arnold and Margaret Hurst.

Frances was a dietician at Highland Manor, now Highland Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Dublin for over 30 years.

She is survived by her

Daughter – Rebecca Sue Hannabass – Dublin

Grandchildren – Michelle Henry & husband, Trevor, Travis Parker & wife, Megan

Great Grandchildren – Twin Grayson & Sydney Henry and Sawyer Parker

Sister - Marie Showalter & William Archie Hale – Riner

Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM – Saturday, February 3, 2023 at the Bower Funeral Home-Pulaski with Archie Hale officiating.

Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends one hour before service time Saturday at the Funeral Home.
