George David Farmer, Sr., age 73 of Roanoke & formerly Pulaski passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at his home.
He was born July 4, 1945 in Pulaski. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Edward Farmer and Mary Elizabeth
Sharitz Farmer and son, George David Farmer, Jr. and sister-in-law, Shelia Farmer.
He was a retired department manager with Kroger's for over 20 years and a veteran of the United States Army.
George loved God, his country, the military and especially his family. He was a avid fisherman and such a patient man.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM – Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski with
Pastor Scott Butcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin.
The family will receive friends between 5:00-7:00 PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
