Goldia Pauline Rutherford Worley, age 80 of 1329 Grove Drive, Pulaski passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008 at her home.

Born August 18, 1927 in Grassy Creek, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Walter Ray Rutherford, Sr. and Fannie Mae Davis Rutherford. She was also preceded in death by their only son, Gregory Arnold Worley in 1996; one sister, Virginia Castello, three brothers, Bill. H. Rutherford, Walter R. Rutherford and Marion S. Rutherford.

Goldia was a life long seamstress. For many years, she worked for Alex's and Dana's Clothing store in Pulaski where she was always considered part of their family.
She was a 52 year faithful, member of the Pulaski Church of God, Bob White Blvd. where she was a member of the Quilting Bee's for 33 years and taught Sunday school and also assisted in the nursery.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 2:00 P.M. at Pulaski Church of God, Bob White Blvd. with Pastor James Weaver and Pastor Jerry Collins officiating.
Interment will follow in the Old Dublin Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the Pulaski Church of God.
