Hansford Giles, 75, of Draper, Virginia, passed away on February 19, 2017 peacefully, with his family by his side.

The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on March 4, 2017 at Memorial Christian Church, Draper, Virginia. Reverend Bobby Osborne will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM before the service at the church. Burial will be private with family at a later date in Duncan Family Cemetery, Draper, Virginia. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski, Virginia.

Hansford was born the son of Edgar and Anna Margaret Roberts Giles, November 4, 1941.He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Barbara Jean Dishon Giles, Sister, Lois Brauner of Russell Springs, Kentucky and Brother, Hershey Giles of Knifley, Kentucky.
Hansford worked at many trades before his retirement, he was a "super mechanic" working on family race cars to the neighbor's lawn mower too. He spent a lot of time with his dog "Buddy" and hanging out with friends in the Draper Community.

Hansford is survived by his three children, Laymon Edgar "Eddie" Giles and his wife Karen, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Giles; his 2 grandchildren Marcus A. Giles and Curtis W. Giles; Lorrie Ann Arnold: his grandchildren Gary Lane Arnold and Amy Lorene Arnold; his brother, John Harold Giles and his wife Gloria; his brother and sister in laws; his nieces and nephews; very close friends from Ohio and Kentucky and the rest of his relatives, neighbors and friends.
