Harold P. "Cookie" Dalton, age 72, a prominent contractor of Draper, VA for 45 years and a United States Army veteran departed this life on Wednesday, June 27, 2007.
He was a Master Carpenter/Builder who has left his legacy throughout Pulaski and surrounding counties.
Born in Draper, Virginia on February 14, 1935 he was the son of the late Robert Lee & Dora King Dalton. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Geraldine Duncan Dalton, three brothers James Douglas "Jimmy" Dalton, Richard "Dick" Dalton, Donald Dalton and one sister, Betty Lou Izat.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at the Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Earnest Chinault & Rev. Bryan Wyke officiating. Interment will follow at the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the Bower Funeral Chapel, 1631 Bobwhite Blvd., Pulaski.
In lieu of flowers, Cookie has requested donations be made to Mary Blankenship Liver Cancer Fund, 1235 Pepper Ferry Road, Pulaski, Va. 24301.Opportunities will also be made available during visitation & funeral service hours.
A special "thanks" to Pulaski Community Hospital, Doctors and staff & the New River Valley Cancer Center for all their love and support at the time of Cookie's illness.
