Harold William Morris, age of 71 of Dublin passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home.

Born March 11, 1944 in Westminster, Maryland, he was the son of the late C.E. Lannihan "Buddy" Morris and Irene Lyons Morris. He was also preceded in death by his biological father, Harold Edwards and a brother, Gary Edwards.

Harold was in the ministry for over 40 years. He graduated from Atlanta Christian College in the class of 1972. He most recently was with the Level Green Christian Church in Newport, Virginia .He was one of the charter members of the Community Christian Church in Newbern. He graduated from Dublin High School in the class of 1963 where he played football and ran track.

His wife of 24 years- Brenda Gravley Morris-Dublin.

A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., June 17, 2015 at the Level Green Christian Church, Newport, Virginia.

A visitation will also be Thursday beginning at 11:00 am, June 18, 2015 with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at the Community Christian Church, Newbern with Ministers Ernie Depew and Porter Riner, Jr. officiating.

Burial will follow in the Newbern Cemetery with Chaplain David Kent presiding.
