Hattie Florence Thornton Puckett, age 79 of Hiwassee passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

Born December 5, 1932 in Pulaski County, she was preceded in death by her parents Bentley Martin Thornton and Lillie Florence East Thornton; her husband, Ralph Abernathy Puckett; two sisters, Virginia Kennedy, and Alice "Vicky" Baker, and two brothers, Roy Edward Thornton and Troy Thornton.

Dennis Puckett and wife, Pamela Puckett- Shiloh,
Allan Puckett- Hiwassee,
Brian Puckett-Hiwassee.

Four Grandchildren- Neil , Amanda , Toby and Jonathon Puckett,

Five Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 p.m., September 29, 2012 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Leslie Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Puckett Family Cemetery, Hiwassee.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
