Obituary

Hope Gillespie Lineberry, age 77 of Dublin passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born March 17, 1933 in Tazewell, she was the daughter of the late John Crockett Gillespie and Katherine Kiser Gillespie. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty–five years, William Holland Lineberry in 2009; a daughter-in-law, Margie Morgan Lineberry and a granddaughter, Jennifer Lineberry.

She was a faithful member of the Dublin United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of James Madison University where she was a member of the Blue Stone Society.

A service of celebration and resurrection will be held Sunday 2:00 p.m. at the Dublin United Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Rowland officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service in the Dublin United Methodist Church Family Life Center.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Maplewood Cemetery, Tazewell, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in her memory be sent to the Dublin United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 577, Dublin, Virginia 24084.
