Ida Clara Rupe Young, age 96 of Dublin passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Pulaski Health and Rehab Center, Pulaski.

Born March 20, 1920 in Pulaski County she was the daughter of the late Robert Bascom Rupe & "Lucy" Lucinda Mabry Rupe. Her husband, William Howery "Bud" Young, brothers; Roscoe Rupe, Leonard Rupe, sisters; (twins) Lizzie & Lazzie Rupe, Margaret Rupe, Callie Taylor, Evelyn Farmer, Elizabeth Taylor and granddaughter, Donna Whitt Kesling also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her

Children-
Frank (Mary Etta) Young – Dublin,
Rodney Young – Dublin,
Minnie Young Whitt – Dublin,

Grandchildren-
Barbara Whitt Collins – Pulaski,
Shelley (Dennis) Young Byrd – Dublin

Great Grandchildren-
Rachel, Ryan, Nat and Cody.

Two Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM – Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Bill Schoeneman officiating.
Interment will follow at the Mt. View UMC Cemetery, Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday evening at the Funeral Home.
