Iola Roop Daye, age 87 of New Providence, PA, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009.

Born January 15, 1922 in Konnarock, VA. to the late Elisha and Amanda Rope. She was also preceded n death by her husband, Odes S. Daye; three brothers, Elza Roop, Elmer Roop, Linzie Roop and one sister, Lona Mae Roop Goad and one Grandson, Bobby Bradley.

She is survived by

Two daughters,
Dorothy Bradley and husband, Bob- Nottingham, PA
Lois Johnson-Elkton, MD.

Son- Carlos Daye- New Providence, PA.

Four Grandchildren,
Five Great Grandchildren,
One Great Great Grandchild,

Two Sisters,
Annette Roop Rupe-Dublin
China Bell Roop Hall-Pulaski

Two Brothers,
Earl Roop-Dublin,
Everette Roop-Coatesville, PA.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 30, 2009 at the R.T. Foard Funeral Home, 111 S. Queen Street, Rising Sun, MD where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Brookview Cemetery.
