Mrs. Irene Koeniger, 69, passed away December 1, 2008 at the Legacy Hospice House. She was born in Pulaski, VA, and moved to Ocala in 1992 from Queens, NY. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church and enjoyed working in ceramics.

She is survived by Robert I. Koeniger her husband of 27 years of Ocala, a daughter Dorothy Zizza of Prescott, AZ, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a brother Herman Lyons of VA.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm on Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Roberts Funeral Homes Bruce Chapel West 6241 SW ST Rd 200, Ocala, FL 352-854-2266.

A funeral mass will be said at 1:00pm on Monday, December 8, 2008 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church with Fr Patrick J. O'Doherty officiating.

Burial will be in Newbern, VA.
