Irene Sara Lyons Morris, age 84 of Pulaski passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Radford Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born December 15, 1924 in Newbern she was the daughter of the late Jack Asbury & Pearl Holderfield Lyons.
Her husband; L.E. "Buddy" Morris, five brothers; Lawrence, Gene, Raymond, Joe and John Lyons and four sisters; Darlene Lyons, Ruby Groff, Helen Freeman and Edna Underwood also preceded her in death.

She was a charter member of the Community Christian Church (Newbern).

She is survived by her

Numerous nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Community Christian Church, Newbern with the Minister Ernie Depew officiating. Interment will follow at the Newbern Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Community Christian Church, Newbern.
