James Daniel Fuller, age 79 of Hiwassee, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Highland Ridge Rehab Center-Dublin.
Born January 9, 1936 in Mecklenburg County, VA he was the son of the late Daniel Brown Fuller & Zelma Blanks Fuller.
His brother; Melvin Fuller, sister-in-law; Carolyn Fuller and brother-in-law; Wilford Hughes also preceded him in death.

James attended Grace Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a retired employee of Hercules with 33 years of service and a lifetime member of the Dublin Lions Club.

James loved God, his family, gospel music,boating on Claytor Lake, fishing and hunting. He was devoted to his wife of 58 years, Hazel Fuller. His children, grand children and great- grandchildren were the joy of his life. His hobbies included carpentry, old tractors, helping others and working on cars. He was a loyal fan of the Redskins and Nascar.

Wife of 58 years- Hazel P. Fuller – Hiwassee.

Children- Lynn Fuller Horton – Fairlawn,&
Dean Alan & Stephanie Fuller – Hiwassee.

Great Grandchildren- Mia Donathan / Aubrie Fuller / Emmy Fuller

Numerous nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm – Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church (Max Creek) with Pastor Doug Ballew officiating. Interment will follow at the Cecil's Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Grace Fellowship Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association (Central & Western Virginia Chapter).

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until service time at the church.
