James "Lukie" Lucas Prescott, Sr. , age 85 of Dublin passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at his home. Born January 24, 1937 in Bland County he was the son of the late Leslie & Elsie Burton Prescott. He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Janice Davis Prescott, daughter; Tammy Prescott Johnson, brothers; Ed, Leon, George and Sherwood Prescott, sisters; Faye Ratcliffe, Daisy Thompson.

Lukie retired from the City of Radford's Street Department with over 38 years of service. He was a proud member of the Pulaski County Wagon Train.

He is survived by his

Wife of 48 years – Lois Goodman Prescott – Dublin

Sons – James Prescott, Jr. & fiancée, Patricia Wright – Pulaski, John (Michea) Prescott – Pulaski

Daughter - Debra (David) Osborne – Richlands, VA

Son-in-law – Donald (Kathy) Johnson – Bluefield

9 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM – Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Robert Osborne & David Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
