James Arnold Ratcliffe , age 73 of Pulaski passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his home. Born March 27, 1948 in Bristol, Virginia he was the son of the late Arnold Irvin Ratcliffe & Minnie Marie Moore Ratcliffe. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Karen.

James was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 101 ^st Airborne Division. He served three tours in Vietnam.

He is survived by his

Wife of 48 years – Nid "Ann" Ratcliffe – Pulaski

Stepdaughter – Helen Ratcliffe – Thailand

3 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren

Brothers – Sam (Jill) Ratcliffe, Tom (Michele) Ratcliffe

Sister – Linda

Beloved Uncle to – Mary (Scott), Michael (Rosa), Jacqui, Elise, Kayla, Emily (Bernardo)

Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon – Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin with Chaplain Bobby Ward officiating.

The family will receive friends between 10:30 – 11:30 AM – Friday at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski
