Jean Fritz Evans, age 71 of Pulaski passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her home.

She was born February 21, 1942 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Charles Fritz and Kellie Cary Fritz. Her husband, Jerry Lee Evans, Sr., two sisters, Joann Coles and Zola Ruth Tiller, also preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Radford University, and retired with 32 years of service with the Pulaski County School System. Mrs. Evans was a member of the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church, a member of the P.E.O., past President of the Pulaski Republican Party, and the Past President of the Pulaski County Republican Women's Club.

Lee Evans and wife, Judy- Woodbridge,VA.,
Charles Evans, and wife, Dee-Seaford,VA.

Six Grandchildren-
Sarah and Emily Woynicz, Bailey and Ryan Evans , and Olivia and Joshua Evans.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 1:00 p.m., August 3, 2013, at the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church with visitation beginning at 12:00.Pastor Robert Davis will be officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Friday evening ,August 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

Flowers are welcome but memorials may also be made to the General Fund of the Draper Valley Presbyterian Church.
