Jesse Lee Kerns, age 78 of Pulaski passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem.
Born January 28, 1939 in Scotland County, NC he was the son of the late Newty Kerns & Lillie Mae Chavis Kerns. His brothers, Bobby Kerns, Eugene Kerns, Roy Kerns and sister, Mary Lillie Kerns also preceded him in death.

He retired from RAAP with 30 years of service. Mr. Kerns was a veteran of the United States Army.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM – Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Johnny Howlett & Rev. James Ferguson officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. before service time at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be Monday- 12:30 PM, August 7, 2017 at the Southwest Virginia Veteran's Cemetery, Dublin.
