Jewell Dawn Owens Abbott, age 67 of Moneta and formerly Pulaski County passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at her home.

Born August 17, 1942 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Jackson Owens and Alma Marie Rakes Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac George Abbott; two sons, Doug Melvin and Danny Melvin.

She is survived by her children-

Joseph Hank "Bo" Melvin-Moneta,
Debora Hudson-Moneta,

5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for a celebration of Jewell's life at Bower Funeral Home Chapel, 320 East Main Street ,Dublin .
