Jimmy C. Roberts, age 77 of Pulaski went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, July 6, 2009
Born May 30, 1932 in Mt. Airy, N.C., he was the son of Alvin Roberts and Maude DePalma Roberts. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Samuel.

He was a long time, dedicated member of the Dublin Baptist Church. Jim was an avid sports fan and he and Dorothy enjoyed watching Virginia Tech sports, the Atlanta Braves, and college basketball. They enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, bird watching and flower gardening.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00 P.M in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Dennis Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery, Pulaski. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

The family wishes to thank Rev. Dennis Jones and the church family of Dublin Baptist church, Dr. Richard Williams and the caring staff at Pulaski Health Care Center for their loving care and support.
