Joan Lee Phillips Cox, age 83 of Snowville passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015.

Born December 7, 1931 in Radford she was the daughter of the late Troy & Betty Dishon Phillips. Her husband, John Clayton Cox, Sr. also preceded her in death.
She was a member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church , Max Creek.

She is survived by her

John C. (Sandra) Cox, Jr. – Allisonia,
Diane Beth (Dennis) Poff – Snowville,
Tim (Sherry) Cox – Snowville,
Kevin (Diane) Cox – Snowville.
Grandchildren-
Stephanie (Scott) Cable, Steven T. (Wendy) Cox ,
Annette Nester , Jason Craig,
Todd Davis, Yana (Bobby) Hunter,
Monica Noble Ashley (Travis) Williams,
Austin Cox & fiancée, Maggie; Bryan Cox,
LaGena Mace, & Matthew Smythers.
20 Great Grandchildren-
Sister- Glenna (David) Garwood – Snowville,
Special Niece-Angie Covey – Draper.
Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM – Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the Grace Fellowship Baptist Church (Max Creek) with Pastor Ron Buchanan officiating. Interment will follow at the Dishon Cemetery,Snowville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM – Monday evening at the Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski
