Joan Gail Doss Shumate, age 80 of Pulaski passed away Saturday evening, December 14, 2019 at the Lewis-Gale Hospital, Pulaski. 
Born April 21, 1939 in Bluefield, WV she was the daughter of the late James Bradley Doss & Trilby Adelene Pauley Doss. 
Her daughter, Diana Lynn Shumate and sister, Helen Claudette Ballinger also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM – Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski with 
Rev. Perry Slaughter and Rev. Donald Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens-Mausoleum, Dublin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
