Joseph Lewis Williams, age 89 of Christiansburg and formerly Pulaski Co. passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Heritage Hall, Blacksburg.

Born May 30, 1922 in Giles Co., he was the son of the late Jessie Williams and Grace Gillespie Williams. His wife, Margaret Ann Stevers Williams and two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.

He worked on a dairy farm for many years.

He is survived by his children-
Margaret Louise Ellison and husband, William- Sophia, N.C.,
James Mason Williams- Christiansburg,
Betty Sue Scott and husband, Wesley-Newbern,
Mary Lula Young and husband, Robert M.-Christiansburg.

Six Grandchildren, Ten Great Grandchildren.
One niece- Mildred Poff,&
One Nephew-Dorsey Williams.

Funeral services will be Tuesday 11:00 a.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. David Hoover officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Dublin.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.
