Joyce Leona Friend Anders, age 63 of Max Meadows passed away Monday February 18, 2013 in Lewis-Gale Hospital, Salem.
Born July 1, 1949 in Pulaski County, she was the daughter of the late Luther Eugene Friend, Sr. and Opal Marie Swecker Friend.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM - Friday, February 22, 2013 at the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Cindy Privette officiating. Interment will follow in the Swecker Family Cemetery.
