Kenneth Lee "Red "Jones, age 82, of Pulaski traveled home to be with his Heavenly Father, Sunday, February 17, 2013 at his home.

Born January 15, 1931 in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late Kenley Roby Jones and Lula Dalton Jones. He was also preceded in death by his four sisters, Julia Morris, Nell Dalton, Carrie Jennelle, Phyllis Williams; three Brothers, Boyd Jones, Coy Jones and Lon Jones.

He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He was was member of the Pulaski VFW Post # 1184 where he served on the Honor Guard for 22 years. He was a retired iron worker of Local 697, Roanoke, Virginia.

Mr. Jones was a dedicated member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Pulaski. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His wife of forty nine years- Ann Spence Jones-Pulaski

Kenneth Jones, Jr. and wife, Stephanie Jones-Pulaski, &
Barry Jones-Pulaski.

Daughter-
Sharon Farmer and husband, Brett Farmer- Eggleston,VA.

Six Grandchildren-
Brad Shelton, Kenny Jones, Brittney Jones, Brandon Farmer, Breanna Farmer and Makayla Spencer.
One Great Granddaughter- Madison Jones.

Frances Parks- Pulaski,
Beulah "Boots" Kerr-Pearisburg
Brother-
Ralph Jones-Pulaski.

Nieces, Nephews and many beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 1:00 p.m., February 20, 2013 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Pastor Scott A. Robertson-Gouge officiating.

Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Dublin with military honors conducted by the Pulaski VFW Post 1184, Pulaski.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home, Pulaski.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory may be sent to the VFW Post #1184,Pulaski or the Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
