Kermit Dwayne Bailey, Sr., age 78 of Rock, West Virginia went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Kermit Bailey, Jr. and Christine Bailey.
Born September 5, 1948 in Dott, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James Alton Bailey & Clara Ethel Agee Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Sue Adams Bailey; brothers Melvin “Sonny” Bailey, Benny Bailey, Bobby Bailey and sister Wanda (Joe) Stevenson.
Kermit was a retired coal miner with 32 years of service and was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends.
He is survived by his

Siblings – Karen Hartwell – Rock, WV, James “Doug” (Debbie) Bailey – Pipestem, WV

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM – Saturday, October 3, 2026 at the Camp Creek West Virginia State Park at the 2nd shelter on Mash Fork area.
