Kitty Windle Tolbert

Born July 11, 1935 of Dublin, Virginia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. 
Kitty was a longtime employee of Burlington Mills in Dublin with whom she made many 
lifelong friends. Kitty had a huge heart and would do anything for you if she could, she was a 
master gardener and had a great love for dogs.

Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney "Doc" Tolbert, parents – 
William Frank & Gladys Windle of Draper; brothers – William Floyd Windle, Ray Windle,
Oscar Windle, Arnold Windle; sisters – Ellen Horton and Thelma Adams.

Kitty is survived by her sister and best friend Molly "Bee Gee" Duncan, two sons –
Stuart (Janet) Dale of Newport News, Arnold Dennis (Michelle) Windle of Hubert, NC;
grandchildren – Jennifer (Rick) Myers of Gloucester, Kevin Windle of Newport News,
Keith (Jordan) Windle of Midlothian, Desmond Windle of Hubert, NC and six great
grandchildren. Her dedicated caregiver and niece, Sandy Wyatt and special friend, Sam Poole
and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends between 5:00-6:30 PM – Friday, August 9, 2019 at the Bower Funeral
Home, Pulaski.
 Funeral services will be 11:00 AM – Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Draper Valley
Pentecostal Holiness Church, Draper with Pastor Mike Ingo officiating.

Interment will follow at the Draper Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
