Lena Blanche Sheppard, age 86 of Springfield, Virginia and formerly Pulaski passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 in Fairfax Hospital, Falls Church, Virginia.
Born December 28, 1924 in Pulaski, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frank Sheppard and Helen Delp Sheppard. One brother, Roy H. Sheppard; and three sisters, Gay Lucado, Lala Tracy and Irene Edwards also preceded her in death.

She was retired from Verizon with over 20 years of service.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:30 A.M., July 18, 2010 in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Lawrence Nuckolls officiating.
Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Pulaski.
